Thyme "Honey Scent" – a compact evergreen shrub 20–30 cm tall and about 30–35 cm in diameter, easy to grow in small containers as a kitchen plant. Its branching structure maintains an elegant and tidy appearance throughout the year, while dense green leaves add decoration to the garden.
The leaves and young shoots of this variety have a rich aroma, which is fully revealed during long thermal processing. That is why "Honey Scent" is often added to dishes early in cooking – so they absorb flavor and enhance the aroma. In fresh form, leaves can be used as a spice for salads, sauces, and marinades, while dried leaves are used for tea brewing or meat seasoning.
Thyme is highly resilient: it is winter-hardy, drought-resistant, and requires little care. The yield is 0.3–0.5 kg/m², and the plants grow quickly – from germination to first use it takes only 35–40 days. Due to its resistance to diseases and pests, it is also an excellent honey plant, attracting bees and contributing to the production of high-quality honey.
