Table Beet Volshebnitsa

Table beet variety WITCH is a mid-season, high-yielding variety with a maturation period of about 125-131 days. The roots have a cylindrical shape, are easily extracted from the soil and weigh from 174 to 350 grams. The flesh is dark red with a burgundy tint, without white veins, characterized by juiciness, tenderness, and a sweet taste. This variety is noted for its stability and the attractive appearance of the roots, making it suitable for both private gardening and commercial cultivation.

WITCH has high resistance to heat and diseases, ensuring a stable yield and minimal losses during cultivation. The yield ranges from 3.8 to 4.5 kg per square meter. The roots store well throughout the winter without losing taste or market qualities, making the variety particularly valuable for winter storage and processing. With late sowing between June 1 and June 10, the beet retains its qualities even better.

This beet variety is widely used in cuisine for preparing borscht, salads, juices, and canning due to its rich color, tender texture, and slightly sweet taste. WITCH beet is undemanding in care, which facilitates the growing process and makes it popular among gardeners and farmers. High nutritional and healing properties make this variety a sought-after vegetable on the table.
