Tsyganochka

The table beet variety «TsYGANOCHKA» belongs to mid-season types and is characterized by a maturation period from seedling emergence to harvest of 100-120 days. This variety is especially valued for its versatility and high productivity, forming the main crop within the specified period and bunch products already in 50-60 days. The root crops of «TsYGANOCHKA» are large-sized, round in shape, with a smooth surface and a mass ranging from 150 to 250 grams, making them optimal in size for various culinary purposes.

The beet pulp is dark red in color, homogeneous, without pronounced ringedness, which gives the root crop an attractive appearance and high juiciness. Taste qualities are excellent — the pulp is tender, juicy and sweet, without bitterness, making the variety ideal for preparing salads, borscht and other dishes. The skin is thin but sufficiently dense, thanks to which the beet tolerates transportation and storage well, without damage from accidental mechanical impacts.

«TsYGANOCHKA» is distinguished by high storability and resistance to mold even when stored in damp cellars. The plant has a semi-elevated leaf rosette with abundant foliage, which effectively suppresses weeds. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases, tolerates both heat and cold well, does not crack, and demonstrates high yield — up to 5-6 kg per square meter. It is recommended for growing in open ground, starting from soil warming to +10 °C, and is suitable both for winter storage and for sale in bunch products.
