Table Beet Kupchikha

A Choice for Processing: The Potential of "Kupchikha" Beet

"Kupchikha" table beet is a result of breeding work by Vladimir Dederko and the KFH "Svetlana" (Svetlana Ugarova) farm, carving out a specific niche in the market for industrial processing. This variety addresses the demand from large-scale producers for raw materials that offer consistent marketability and predictable technological performance.

Technical Specifications

• Root shape: Classic round, which simplifies automated cleaning and slicing processes.
• Color: Intense deep red, maintaining color saturation even after thermal processing.
• Application: Processing sector (juice production, canning, drying).

The breeding of this variety focused on adaptability to regional climates, ensuring robust field performance. Unlike many universal hybrids, the primary emphasis here is on biochemical composition: the density of the flesh and the absence of coarse fibers allow for a premium-quality end product. In industrial agricultural settings, "Kupchikha" is valued for its uniformity; the roots exhibit a consistent caliber, which significantly reduces waste during primary processing stages.

For farms engaged in contract farming for food manufacturers, "Kupchikha" serves as a reliable tool for maintaining supply chain stability. The collaboration between originators Dederko and Ugarova has resulted in a crop that balances disease resistance with logistics-friendly handling, establishing it as a highly relevant player in the vegetable production sector.
