Megaza

Megaza sweet corn is a high-quality hybrid with a range of valuable agronomic and taste characteristics. This mid-season variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to various diseases, such as fusarium, helminthosporium, and cercosporiosis. Due to its cold and lodging tolerance, Megaza can be successfully grown in various climatic zones, including Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polissia, making it a universal choice for farmers.

Megaza corn plants form dense, uniform cylindrical ears with large, juicy kernels of rich yellow color. The variety is characterized by a sweet and juicy taste, making it ideal for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing. The vegetative period is approximately 70-75 days, and plant height reaches 180-200 cm. Thanks to good storability for up to three months and high disease resistance, the corn retains its taste and market appearance for a long time.

For successful cultivation of Megaza, planting in open ground is recommended from May to June, at soil temperatures not lower than 10 °C. Seed planting depth is 3-5 cm.
