GOURMAN DREAM

Sugar corn 'Gourman Dream' is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 76 to 91 days. The plant is tall, reaching a height of up to 2 meters with proper care and regular watering. The ears have a cylindrical shape, 18 to 22 centimeters long, and weigh up to 250 grams. The kernels are large, yellow or yellow-orange, with a tender skin and high sugar content (5-8%), which gives them a sweet and pleasant taste. Corn 'Gourman Dream' differs in enhanced resistance to diseases and universal purpose. It can be consumed fresh in the milk ripening stage, as well as canned and frozen. During the growth period, the plant requires moderate temperatures from 12 to 25°C, abundant watering, and suitable conditions for development, which contributes to obtaining a high and quality yield with good market uniformity of the ears. The crop does not make special demands on the soil, but responds positively to fertilizer application. Harvesting of the ears is carried out in the milk ripening stage, when the wrapping leaves tightly hug the ear, and the kernels acquire a shiny yellow or yellow-orange color. Due to its taste qualities and high yield, the hybrid 'Gourman Dream' is an excellent choice for growing in the central strip of Russia and other regions with similar climatic conditions.
