Originator: All-Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Selection.

Sunflower hybrid "Zagraya" has been included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2007.

Early maturing hybrid. Vegetative period 100-108 days.

Well adapted to mechanical harvesting.

High yield potential. Yield potential is 47 centners/ha.

The hybrid shows high resistance to downy mildew and false powdery mildew.

High resistance to lodging and drought.

Highly and moderately resistant to Fusarium, gray and white rot.

Resistant to five races of downy mildew.

Oil content − 50-52% .

Yield obtained in competitive trials — 35.9-39.5 centners/ha.

Recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine.
