Sunflower Hybrid

Originator: All-Ukrainian Institute of Selection (VNIIS).

The sunflower hybrid 'Sunflower Hybrid' has been included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2007.

Early maturing, high-yielding hybrid. Vegetative period 98-103 days.

The hybrid shows intensive growth in early development stages, resistant to lodging. Resistant to downy mildew and false powdery mildew.

Highly and moderately resistant to fomopsis and white mold.

Oil content − 51.2-52.0%.

Yield potential is 48 centners per hectare.

Yield obtained in competitive trials − 32.0-40.0 centners per hectare.

Recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine.
