Phytopathological barrier

The key feature of Atlanta F1 is its comprehensive resistance to pathogens causing degradation of heads and stems. Its genetically embedded immunity effectively blocks the development of the following diseases:

• Sclerotiniosis (white rot) — protection of the head and stem at all stages of ontogenesis.
• Phomopsis and phoma — prevention of necroses that often lead to lodging.
• Various types of rot affecting the root system and vascular tissue.

Agronomic indicators

The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group, completing its vegetation cycle in 100–110 days. With a plant height of 160–170 cm, it forms a robust stem capable of withstanding heavy loads during the seed filling period. An important technological advantage is the large size of the achene, which, combined with a high oil content (45–50%), makes the hybrid attractive to both farmers and processors.

The three-line scheme used for the creation of Atlanta F1 ensures a heterosis effect, resulting in crop uniformity in terms of height and ripening time. This simplifies combine adjustment during harvest and minimizes yield losses characteristic of non-uniform hybrids.
