Sunflower VICTORIA 34

Stable Yields in Short Timeframes

The three-line sunflower hybrid "Victoria 34" from "Solnechnaya Strana" (Sunny Country) is designed for growers who prioritize predictable vegetation and high seed quality. Thanks to the breeding work led by Olga Belyaeva, Ilya Koshkarev, and Roman Nazarov, this hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptive capabilities, even in regions with shorter growing seasons.

Key Advantages

• Early Maturation: A vegetation period of 90–100 days allows for harvest before unfavorable weather sets in or facilitates timely double-cropping.
• Oil Content: Oil levels ranging from 50% to 55% make this hybrid a profitable choice for producers supplying oil extraction plants.
• Phytosanitary Resistance: Built-in genetic resistance to rust and primary types of rot reduces the need for costly fungicide treatments, simplifying field management.

Morphological Features

The plant reaches a height of 150–160 cm, which is optimal for mechanical harvesting. The medium-sized head has a slightly convex shape, ensuring effective drying of the seeds after maturation. The black, narrow-ovoid seeds have a high test weight, facilitating easier primary cleaning and storage processes.

Who Is This Hybrid For?

"Victoria 34" is an ideal solution for farms operating in risky agricultural zones or regions with a short frost-free period. The hybrid's stable performance is achieved through balanced genetics; it does not require intensive feeding to reach its target oil content, yet it responds well to standard agronomic practices. If you are looking for a reliable, "workhorse" variety to ensure stable income without excessive risks, this is one of the most rational choices in the early-maturing sunflower segment.
