Sunflower SNOWY WHITE

Sunflower variety Snowy White is a late-maturing silage culture intended for the production of succulent feeds. The vegetative period ranges from 110 to 120 days, and flowering occurs very late. Plants reach a height of 3 to 4 meters, which contributes to high yields of green mass, reaching up to 560-780 centners per hectare. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance and frost tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in complex climatic conditions. Snowy White exhibits resistance to diseases such as downy mildew and phoma, reducing the risk of yield loss and the need for intensive application of protective agents. High sugar and protein content in the green mass ensures quality nutrition for livestock, surpassing many better corn hybrids in these indicators. Sowing and harvesting schedules align with corn, allowing this variety to be integrated into existing feed preparation processes without additional changes. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including northern and central zones, as well as in risky agricultural conditions. Thanks to its reliability and high productivity, Snowy White is an indispensable insurance feed crop, ensuring stable production of succulent feeds even under unfavorable weather conditions.
