Aldazor is a mid-early, high-yielding simple hybrid sunflower intended for oil use. The vegetation period of the plant is 112-115 days, with a potential yield reaching 55-60 centners per hectare. Plant height varies from 170 to 190 cm, and oil content in seeds can reach 52%. The hybrid is characterized by uniform maturity and even planting, which facilitates harvesting and improves crop quality.
One of the key features of Aldazor is its high tolerance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, particularly to the products Granstar and Express. Tolerance to a single application of herbicide at a dose of 50 g/ha allows effective control of a wide range of weeds, reducing costs for crop protection. Additionally, the hybrid shows resistance to seven strains of downy mildew (from A to G), making it suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine.
Aldazor is well-adapted to dry conditions and exhibits enhanced ecological plasticity, ensuring productive adaptation across all soil-climate zones of the country. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to false powdery mildew and lodging at the root, with genetically embedded moderate resistance to fomopsis and alternaria. Thanks to these characteristics, Aldazor is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
