Sunflower Cyberic HTS is a linoleic-type hybrid developed by Syngenta, a world leader in seed materials. This mid-season hybrid is characterized by high yield potential and high oil content in seeds — up to 51%. The maturation period ranges from 116 to 125 days, making it optimal for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including northern and central steppe, forest-steppe zones, and regions with insufficient moisture.
The Cyberic HTS hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as phomopsis, false powdery mildew, white mold in stem and head forms, as well as to seven main races of downy mildew (A–G) and some new forms of this pathogen. Seeds are treated with a fungicidal seed treatment, further enhancing their protection against fungal infections. Plants show good growth energy in early stages, drought tolerance, and low sensitivity to temperature fluctuations. Plant height is medium to above medium, and inflorescences exhibit high pollination rates.
Cyberic HTS is recommended for cultivation using intensive and moderately intensive technologies, including the use of herbicides Express® (FMC), Grozny Expert, and Granstar. Seed packaging is done in paper bags of 150,000 seeds, convenient for sowing operations. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid ensures stable and high yields in various agroclimatic regions of Ukraine, demonstrating yields ranging from 24.2 to 45.8 c/ha at seed moisture of 7%.
