SURELI

Sunflower SURELI is a mid-early linoleic hybrid developed by Syngenta for cultivation in the steppe zone of Ukraine and other regions with varying climatic conditions. This hybrid is distinguished by high drought and heat tolerance, enabling it to consistently yield even under water deficit. SURELI is suitable for HTS (Express or Granstar) technology, revealing its potential under moderate-intensity agronomy and ensuring high yield levels.

The SURELI hybrid is characterized by resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including false powdery mildew, fomosis, fomopsis, basket sclerotinia, white rot, and rust (races A–G). This makes it a reliable choice for fields with medium to high agrofond, reducing the risk of yield losses due to phytopathology. In addition, the sunflower exhibits good pollen shedding and high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 54% — enhancing its economic attractiveness.

The recommended plant population varies depending on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture — 35–45 thousand plants per hectare, under moderate conditions — 45–55 thousand, and under adequate moisture — 55–60 thousand. The seed package contains 150,000 seeds, convenient for planning sowing operations. Due to its adaptive properties and resistance to stress factors, sunflower SURELI is an optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield under steppe climate conditions.
