Sunflower P63LL06

Sunflower hybrid P63LL06 is a medium-early, high-yielding linoleic type hybrid with high oil content, reaching 50%. It has a vegetation period of 110-115 days and plant height of about 140 cm, which is below average. The head is convex, and seeds are well retained, preventing shattering. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 60 grams, contributing to high yields with potential up to 48 centners/ha.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including Fusarium, Fusarium oxysporum, white mold, and false powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to five races of downy mildew (A-E). Additionally, it has high drought tolerance and a strong stem, ensuring resistance to lodging. These traits make P63LL06 particularly suitable for cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppes, and Polissia in Ukraine.

The cultivation technology for this hybrid is traditional, using conventional herbicides. Due to its adaptability, P63LL06 performs well across a wide range of conditions, though it is recommended to avoid areas where race G of sunflower downy mildew is present. This hybrid combines high productivity, stress and disease resistance, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality yields.
