Latituda OR

Latituda OR sunflower is an early-maturing, simple Serbian hybrid with a vegetation period of 100-102 days, developed by the Institute of Agriculture and Vegetable Growing in Novi Sad. This hybrid features high yield potential, reaching up to 5 tons per hectare, equivalent to over 50 centners per hectare. Plant height ranges from 160 to 180 cm, with a slender head and a 1000-seed mass of 60-75 grams, ensuring ease of handling and harvesting.

Latituda OR has high oil content, varying from 47 to 52%, with seed moisture of 23-25%. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to downy mildew (group A-G+), as well as to a broad spectrum of fungal diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, fomopsis, fomosis, alternaria, and bacterial blight. Additionally, it is resistant to lodging and exhibits high drought tolerance, enabling stable and high yields even under adverse climatic conditions.

Recommended for cultivation using conventional technology across various agroclimatic zones, including steppe and forest-steppe regions. Optimal planting density varies by region: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare for forest-steppe, 50-55 thousand for central steppe, and 45-50 thousand for southern and dry steppe. These characteristics make Latituda OR a reliable choice for farmers aiming for high productivity and quality oilseed crops.
