Salvasol

Salvasol sunflower is a medium-maturing, intensive hybrid with a vegetation period of 110-115 days, adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесье. It is characterized by high resistance to lodging and drought, ensuring a stable and high yield even under adverse conditions. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and exhibits rapid development in early growth stages, which facilitates effective utilization of soil and water resources.

Salvasol has a high oil content of 50-51%, making it attractive for oil production. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, with a convex head diameter of 21-23 cm, half-nodded downward. The thousand-seed mass varies from 56 to 61 grams, and the potential yield is 4.9-5.3 t/ha. The hybrid is resistant to races of downy mildew A-F and tolerant to sulfonylurea-based herbicides, facilitating weed control.

Moreover, Salvasol demonstrates high comprehensive resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, fusarium, and dry rot. The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. The package contains 150 000 seeds, which is convenient for farmers aiming for efficient and high-quality sunflower production.
