SA 5912 R

SA 5912 R is a mid-early sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation under the herbicide Granstar (Express Sun, Sumo). It is characterized by an intensive growth type and was developed through selection of the most productive biotypes. The hybrid features uniform flowering and maturation, as well as high seed-set even under adverse conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 115 days, allowing its use in various climatic zones.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew from A to G, false powdery mildew, fomopsis, fusarium, dry rot, rust, and sunflower moth. It is also tolerant to diseases causing leaf and stem spotting, as well as to white rot in root and stem forms. Plant height reaches 180-190 cm, promoting good development and yield formation.

SA 5912 R is suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine due to its adaptability and resistance to stress factors, including drought and nutrient-poor soils. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 43.7-59 c/ha, with oil content in seeds of 50-52%. These characteristics make it an attractive choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high sunflower yield.
