Sugar beet variety SC 140 M is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, which ensures a stable and quality harvest. To protect sugar beet crops from a complex of pests, the insecticide Mavrik Adama, containing the active substance tau-fluvalinate at a concentration of 240 g/L, is used. This product has a contact-intestinal action, effectively combats insects with chewing and sucking mouthparts, and is safe for bees. Treatment is carried out during the growing season upon the appearance of pests, and the pre-harvest interval is 30 days.
To protect against fungal diseases such as cercospora, a contact fungicide Medyan Extra with the active substance copper oxychloride is used. The product is suitable for treating sugar beet and is used in integrated plant protection systems. The recommended application rate is 1-1.5 liters per hectare, with up to three treatments per season. The last treatment must be carried out no later than 20 days before harvest.
The combined use of modern plant protection products allows effectively maintaining the health of sugar beet variety SC 140 M crops, ensuring high yield levels and product quality. Adherence to application timing and rates helps minimize risks and maintain environmental safety.
