Sunflower Salamanca

The SALAMANCA sunflower hybrid, developed by Grano de Oro, is characterized by high yield and resistance to various adverse factors. It exhibits resistance to diseases, drought, and high temperatures, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in diverse climatic conditions. The hybrid is also protected against the effects of imidazoles and sulfanilamide, and is resistant to the parasite Orobanche cernua, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss.

SALAMANCA is versatile and suitable for various crop rotation technologies, enabling its effective use in different agrotechnical systems. Thanks to its ecological plasticity and robust root system, the hybrid demonstrates high drought resistance and tolerance to sowing dates, expanding its application possibilities across various regions.

The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 45-48 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds of 51-52%. The 1000-seed mass varies from 58 to 62 grams, and the vegetation period is 105-108 days. The recommended planting density reaches 53 thousand plants per hectare, promoting optimal growth and maximum soil resource utilization.
