Sunflower hybrid of the Donbas variety is a high-yielding Ukrainian selection, intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions. This variety is distinguished by resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, white and gray rot, rust, fomopsis, as well as to fomosis, alternaria, septoria, and anthracnose, ensuring a stable and high yield. The vegetation period is approximately 106-108 days, plant height reaches 175-180 cm, and the recommended planting density at harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare. The potential yield reaches 6 tons per hectare, with oil content in seeds of 53-55%. Sunflower seeds of the Donbas variety have a thousand-seed mass ranging from 50-58 grams and a sowing unit mass from 7.5 to 8.5 kg. To enhance protection against pests, seeds are additionally treated with an insecticide, which improves germination and reduces losses during cultivation. This hybrid is an original variety with certified quality, guaranteeing reliability and efficiency in agricultural use. Sunflower Donbas is widely used for planting on fields to obtain high-quality raw material for oil production. Thanks to its resistance and high productivity, it contributes to increased farm profitability. Moreover, this variety is actively used within regional programs for agricultural product distribution and exchange, promoting the development of the agricultural sector and strengthening economic ties between regions.
