Sunflower PH 1023 A

Prioritizing Ultra-Early Maturity

When you have a tight window for cultivation, genetics are everything. The PX 1023 A hybrid from Pioneer s.a. is the ideal choice for those aiming for an early harvest and looking to mitigate the risks associated with unpredictable autumn weather. With a growing season of 90-100 days, this sunflower efficiently completes its development stages, avoiding late-season rain or early frost stress.

Field Performance and Management

Field experience confirms that this hybrid is highly adaptable to various planting conditions. The primary advantage noted by agronomists is its strong resistance to rust. In humid conditions, where other varieties may succumb to fungal infections, PX 1023 A maintains a clean, healthy leaf canopy, which is vital for proper head filling. This translates into tangible savings on fungicide applications and ensures better overall crop health.

• Early Development: Expect uniform emergence and vigorous initial growth, allowing the crop to close the canopy quickly and effectively suppress weed competition.
• Harvest Efficiency: Thanks to its early maturity, grain moisture levels at harvest are typically manageable, reducing drying costs and streamlining logistical operations.
• Operational Ease: The hybrid consistently forms high-quality, well-filled heads even under moderate fertility programs, making it a low-maintenance, reliable choice.

If your rotation plan requires clearing fields quickly for subsequent winter crops, this American hybrid offers the perfect balance. Minimal maintenance requirements combined with predictable, high-quality results make it a top performer in professional agricultural settings.
