DR 17 is a specialized paint for sunflower, soybean, bean, and other crop seeds. It has a distinctive reddish-gray color with a high silver pearlescent sheen, ensuring excellent seed coverage. The paint easily dissolves in water and contains no synthetic polymers or volatile solvents, making it environmentally safe and non-harmful to soil. Due to natural polysaccharides in its composition, the paint promotes improved germination and plant growth, as well as prevents seed clumping after treatment and dust formation in seed masses.
One of the key features of DR 17 paint is its freeze resistance: after thawing, it retains all its properties. Equipment for applying the paint is easily cleaned with water, simplifying the seed treatment process. The paint does not hinder seed moisture and gas exchange, which helps maintain seed viability and high germination quality.
Sunflower seeds treated with DR 17 paint belong to Ukrainian selection and are characterized by high yield and resistance to diseases such as downy mildew, rust, and powdery mildew. Average yields of such seeds range from 50-60 centners per hectare, with oil content reaching 50-53%. Using DR 17 paint enhances the quality of planting material and ensures successful sunflower cultivation.
