Paraiso 1000CL Plus is a medium-maturing sunflower hybrid with a maturity period of 116-120 days, specifically developed for the ClearfieldPlus system. It is characterized by stable high yield and high oil content in seeds, reaching 50-51%. The hybrid features medium-late flowering and maturation, as well as medium plant height — 160-170 cm with semi-arching heads. High resistance to lodging and stem breakage ensures reliability during cultivation and harvest.
One of the key features of Paraiso 1000CL Plus is enhanced resistance to broad-spectrum imidazoline herbicides (e.g., Euro-Lightning®), which is six times higher than in standard Clearfield® hybrids. This allows effective weed control and reduces costs for crop protection. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as sclerotinia, fusarium, and powdery mildew, contributing to plant health and stable yields. However, it is not resistant to the parasitic weed — dodder.
Paraiso 1000CL Plus is adaptable to various growing conditions and suitable for different soil types, making it a versatile choice for farmers. The recommended planting density prior to harvest is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal growth and maximum productivity.
