The Paradise HO CLP hybrid, a 2025 Romanian release, is engineered for intensive farming systems utilizing the Clearfield (CLP) technology. To maximize yield potential, strict adherence to agronomic protocols is essential throughout the crop's development cycle.

Sowing and Plant Density

Seeding should commence once soil temperatures at the 4–6 cm depth reach a stable +10...+12°C. Early planting in cold soil risks uneven emergence. Recommended plant populations at harvest are as follows:

• High-moisture regions: 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare.
• Arid regions: 45,000–50,000 plants per hectare.

Maintaining a 70 cm row spacing ensures optimal nutrient access and airflow, which is critical for mitigating fungal disease pressure.

Crop Protection and Nutrition

As a Clearfield-compatible hybrid, the timing of imidazolinone herbicide application is paramount. The optimal window is the 2–4 true leaf stage. Delaying application can induce phytotoxicity and stunt growth. Regarding nutrition, boron application during the budding stage is strongly advised to ensure successful pollination and seed set. The hybrid shows excellent response to balanced NPK fertilization, with a focus on phosphorus availability during early vegetative stages to support root system development.
