Sunflower Bluetooth

Ukrainian sunflower genetics for Clearfield systems

The «Bluetooth» sunflower hybrid represents the synergy of leading Ukrainian agricultural research institutions, including the National Research Center «Institute of Agriculture of NAAS» and the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute. Designed for the challenges of modern farming, this hybrid bridges the gap between high-tech weed management and traditional breeding stability.

Core strengths and oil profile

The primary advantage of the Bluetooth hybrid is its inherent resistance to imidazolinone herbicides, known as the «Euro-Lighting» technology. This allows farmers to maintain weed-free fields while ensuring the crop develops without chemical stress. The hybrid maintains a consistent oil content of 35–40%, making it a valuable candidate for diverse processing requirements.

Why it stands out in the market

• Local expertise: Developed by a team of renowned Ukrainian breeders, including Mykola Slisarchuk and Ievheniia Boiko, ensuring perfect adaptation to domestic soil and climatic zones.
• Simple hybrid structure: Uniform development leads to reliable, predictable harvesting cycles.
• Operational efficiency: Designed for fields with high weed pressure, significantly reducing the need for mechanical weeding and promoting sustainable soil management.

Bluetooth is positioned as a dependable choice for growers looking for local research-backed performance in weed-heavy environments. Its lineage, rooted in national agricultural science, ensures that it meets the specific needs of the Ukrainian agricultural sector while providing a scalable solution for various operation sizes.
