Sunflower YELLO CLP

French breeding for high-performance farming

The sunflower hybrid ELLO KLP (F1), developed by RAGT 2n, was officially registered in Ukraine in 2025. It is a strategic choice for growers focused on intensive cultivation and the Clearfield Plus production system. RAGT's French genetics are renowned for maintaining stability under stressful environmental conditions, and this hybrid is no exception.

Field performance and stress tolerance

The primary strength of ELLO KLP is its high adaptability to limiting environmental factors. In conditions of increasing moisture deficit, the hybrid demonstrates an excellent ability to maintain metabolic processes, which is critical for forming well-filled seed heads. Its genetic resistance to lodging ensures minimal harvest losses, even in regions prone to high wind speeds.

• Heat tolerance: High threshold of tolerance to extreme temperatures during the flowering stage.
• Drought resistance: Efficient utilization of soil moisture during early development stages.
• Phytosanitary profile: RAGT 2n breeding provides a robust barrier against major pathogens common in intensive farming zones, effectively reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications.

This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the primary sunflower-growing regions of Ukraine, where a combination of high yield potential and predictable performance under imidazolinone herbicide application is required.
