Dariot

Dariot is a high-quality winter rapeseed hybrid developed by DSV, characterized by intensive root system development in autumn and high compensatory capacity in case of sparse sowing. This hybrid is the first in the DSV PNN series, featuring enhanced resistance to pests due to the plant's ability to rapidly regenerate damaged tissues. Thanks to these qualities, Dariot demonstrates high resilience to severe conditions, including drought, lodging, shattering, and major rapeseed diseases such as phomopsis, which is ensured by the presence of the RLM 7 gene.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 70 c/ha and high oil content. Dariot plants are tall, forming medium-sized but robust leaf plates, which facilitates efficient photosynthesis and productive nitrogen utilization for branch and pod formation. The tall stem and layered leaf apparatus provide better sunlight exposure, accelerate lignification, and promote uniform crop maturation.

Dariot has above-average winter hardiness and is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. This hybrid is the result of careful breeding work aimed at creating stable and adaptable varieties to various natural-climatic conditions.
