Olyver

Olyver sunflower is an ultraprecoce Serbian hybrid with a vegetation period of 90-95 days, allowing its cultivation in various climatic conditions and zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Thanks to its high plasticity and adaptability, this hybrid is suitable for planting both early and late, ensuring a stable and high yield. Plant height reaches 160-180 cm, and the average weight of 1000 seeds exceeds 65 g, indicating high seed quality. The Olyver hybrid has high oil content at 47-49% and potential yield exceeding 4.5 tons per hectare. It exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including lodging, shattering, rust, gray and white mold, as well as fomopsis, fomosis, and septoria, confirmed by resistance ratings of 7 to 9 points. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to four races of downy mildew, making it especially valuable for cultivation in drought-prone areas. Recommended planting density varies from 40,000 to 60,000 plants per hectare depending on the cultivation zone, allowing optimized yield and product quality. Olyver sunflower seeds are produced under a modern quality control system and have a storage life of up to 60 months. After harvest, this hybrid can be used for sowing winter crops, contributing to effective crop rotation and increased agricultural profitability.
