Sunflower ON ACROS

Practical insights on НА Акрас

When working with the НА Акрас sunflower variety from Nertus, its stability in the field is what stands out immediately. This is not a crop that requires laboratory conditions; the variety performs reliably across various soil types.

Field performance and harvesting

• The plant height of up to 2 meters allows for effective use of standard machinery without the need for constant header adjustments.
• The large head size ensures excellent seed filling, which directly impacts the total tonnage per hectare.
• The varietal nature of the crop simplifies seed management, providing a significant advantage for farms looking to maintain independence from expensive annual hybrid purchases.

During the harvest, НА Акрас remains predictable. The stems are robust enough to withstand wind, and with proper desiccation, the large heads thresh cleanly without complications. There is no need for "field repairs" here, as the variety shows high vigor without excessive maintenance. Fuel consumption during field operations is standard, as the crop does not require extra passes for pest control if basic rotation guidelines are followed.

Working with Mykola Mykhno's breeding, you can feel that the variety is adapted to local realities. This is a choice for those who value predictability, clear plant biology, and stable results without paying for the marketing overhead of international brands.
