Sunflower Oliver CLP is a fast-maturing hybrid of Serbian selection with a vegetation period of 90-95 days. This hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance and lodging resistance, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in dry regions. It also exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, phomosis, septoria, rust, gray and white mold, as well as four strains of downy mildew, ensuring stable yields and reducing losses under adverse conditions.
Hybrid Oliver CLP is characterized by high yield potential, exceeding 4.5 tons per hectare, and is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. The optimal planting density varies depending on the region: in steppe zones, 40-45 thousand plants per hectare are recommended, in forest-steppe zones — 45-50 thousand, and in forest zones — 50-55 thousand plants per hectare. This adaptability allows for the most effective use of agronomic practices and climatic conditions.
Sunflower seeds of Oliver CLP have a high oil content, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-oleic sunflower oil. The average oil content in the seeds reaches about 48-50%, ensuring high quality of the final product. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this hybrid is widely used in the agricultural sector to obtain stable and high-quality yields.
