Oleean

Sunflower Oleean is a mid-early hybrid with a vegetative period of about 105 days, developed for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine, as well as the Lower Volga region. This hybrid is distinguished by its high adaptability and resistance to adverse conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield. Plant height reaches 150-180 cm, and the 1000-seed mass is approximately 65-70 g, indicating good development and potential of the hybrid.

Oleean exhibits high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases and pests, including various races of downy mildew (A-G), verticillium, sclerotinia, fusarium, phomopsis, alternaria, as well as to false powdery mildew and sunflower moth. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid maintains plant health even under stressful conditions, contributing to yields up to 5 t/ha and higher. Moreover, the sunflower demonstrates good drought and frost resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with insufficient moisture.

The seeds of the hybrid contain a high oil content — from 48.2% to 52% — making it particularly valuable for oil production. Seed purity is within the range of 22-24%, facilitating processing and improving the quality of the final product. A strong root system and medium stem thickness ensure plant resilience and efficient utilization of nutrients. All these characteristics make sunflower Oleean an optimal choice for farmers seeking high-quality yields in various climatic conditions.
