Aladdin

The Aladdin sunflower variety is a large-seeded confectionery hybrid developed using modern breeding technologies. It is intended for producing snacks and oil: large seed fractions are used in the confectionery industry, while smaller fractions are used for oil production. The variety is characterized by high oil content, with oil content in seeds of approximately 46.4%, ensuring a high oil yield — up to 10.3 centners per hectare. The thousand-seed weight exceeds 130 grams at optimal plant density, contributing to high productivity.

Aladdin is a medium-early variety with a period from emergence to physiological maturity of 97-99 days. Plants have high stature, green leaves, and yellow flowers with distinctly marked stripes on the seeds. The variety exhibits resistance to herbicides of the imidazolinone group, enabling effective application of the Clearfield technology for weed control. Additionally, it shows tolerance to major races of downy mildew and false powdery mildew, as well as high resistance to diseases and pests.

Recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural regions. It performs particularly well in the Stavropol and Krasnodar territories, Kalmyk Republic, Lipetsk and Samara regions.
