NS H 6010 is a mid-early sunflower hybrid characterized by a vegetation period of about 100 days. Plants have an average height of 140 to 170 cm, with a stable stem, ensuring good resistance to lodging. The hybrid is adapted to various climatic zones and soil types, making it universal for cultivation in different regions. The optimal plant density at harvest is 58,000–60,000 plants per hectare.
The hybrid possesses a high genetic potential for seed yield, exceeding 40–48 c/ha, and oil content in seeds varies from 44 to 52%, making it attractive for the production of oilseed products. NS H 6010 is distinguished by high and stable yield, as well as high tolerance to stress conditions, including drought.
Special attention is paid to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and pests. It is genetically resistant to all races of downy mildew due to the Pl6 gene, and also resistant to rust and sunflower moth. The hybrid is also highly tolerant to Phomopsis. Moreover, NS H 6010 has high resistance to herbicides from the imidazolinone group (Euro-Lightning), which allows for effective weed and nematode control when using corresponding protection agents. High production of nectar and pollen makes this hybrid attractive to pollinators, which contributes to improved crop quality.
