PARAISO 102 SL is a mid-late sunflower hybrid with a vegetation period of about 110-120 days, distinguished by high adaptability and resistance to various climatic conditions. The plants are medium-sized, ranging from 155 to 170 cm in height, with semi-weeping heads, which helps protect seeds from sunburn and improves harvest quality. The hybrid possesses high drought tolerance, making it an optimal choice for cultivation in various agro-technical systems, including No-till and Mini-till technologies, and is suitable for application of the Clearfield system with imidazoline herbicides. PARAISO 102 SL is characterized by stable and high yield, which largely depends on soil quality and proper use of plant protection products. The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as sclerotinia, phoma, gray mold, and downy mildew, as well as high lodging resistance. However, it is not resistant to the parasitic plant – sunflower dodder. Oil content in seeds is 50-51%, ensuring high technical value of the crop. The recommended sowing density before harvest is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare, and a seeding unit contains 150,000 seeds.
