NSH 6011 is an ultra-early sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation in central regions. The plant reaches a medium height of about 150 cm and is characterized by a lack of branching. Leaves are of medium size and green in color, while the head is of medium size and turned halfway downwards. Flowers are yellow, with ligules and tubular parts; seeds are round in shape with a predominantly black coating. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 45.8 g, indicating good seed quality.
The hybrid is distinguished by high yield, which under optimal conditions can exceed 40 c/ha, while average figures range from 24 to 52.7 c/ha. NSH 6011 is resistant to shattering, lodging, and drought, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Oil content in seeds ranges from 42.1% to 46%, while hull accounts for about 28.9%, ensuring high processing efficiency.
Special attention is paid to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and pests. It is genetically resistant to races of sunflower wilt A, B, C, D, and E, as well as to rust and sunflower moth. Additionally, the hybrid is tolerant to Phomopsis, Phoma, white mold, and diseases causing leaf and stem spotting. These characteristics ensure crop stability and reduce the need for intensive plant protection.
