Sunflower Terminator

TERMINATOR is a mid-early hybrid of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) intended for cultivation in regions with climate conditions of the North Caucasus region, specifically in Krasnodar Krai. The plant is characterized by high or very high growth, absence of branching, and medium-sized green leaves with insignificant blistering and serration of the edges. Ray and tubular florets have a yellow coloration, while anthocyanin coloration of the style is absent or very weakly expressed. The head is of medium size, turned half downwards at maturity, with the seed side being convex. Seeds are oval-elongated, black in color with marginal stripes, without spotting. The vegetative period of the hybrid ranges from 118 to 122 days, corresponding to a mid-maturity maturation time. The potential yield reaches 60 centners per hectare, and the oil content in seeds can reach 53%, making this hybrid attractive for the production of oilseed products. The weight of 1000 seeds varies from 55 to 70 grams, indicating large-fruitedness and high seed quality. The recommended sowing density to achieve optimal yield ranges from 40 to 52 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the specific growing zone. The TERMINATOR hybrid was created using modern agricultural technologies, ensuring yield stability and high product quality. It features classic sunflower characteristics, allowing for effective use in agricultural production. Thanks to its properties and adaptation to regional climate conditions, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking to obtain a high-quality sunflower crop.
