NS OSKAR sunflower is an early-maturing, high-oleic hybrid of Serbian origin with a vegetation period of 90-95 days and a yield potential of up to 5 tons per hectare. This hybrid was specifically developed for cultivation under the herbicide Granstar and is characterized by high productivity under optimal agronomic conditions. It is well-adapted to various climatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal choice for farmers.
NS OSKAR hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, rust, and Phomopsis, as well as to 7+ races of downy mildew (A-G++). Genetic resistance to pests such as sunflower moth, combined with a strong, sturdy stem, ensures reliable protection against lodging and contributes to stable yield formation. Additionally, the plant tolerates drought and cold periods, which is especially important for cultivation in Ukraine.
NS OSKAR sunflower is distinguished by high pollen fertility and attractiveness to pollinators, which contributes to the formation of high-quality and high-yield crops. The hybrid's seed material responds well to fertilizer and growth stimulant application, although fungicides are recommended for protection against fungal diseases. All these characteristics make NS OSKAR a reliable and efficient choice for cultivating high-quality sunflower with high oil content.
