MS 82 A

MS 82 A is an early sunflower hybrid characterized by high seed oil content and high yield potential within its maturity group. The vegetation period is 90-95 days, allowing for early harvest. Plants have medium height and convex capitula well-filled with seeds. The 1000-seed mass ranges from 48 to 52 grams, and oil content reaches 54%, making this hybrid particularly attractive for oil production.

Hybrid MS 82 A adapts well to various soil-climate conditions, tolerates temperature fluctuations, and is resistant to drought, lodging, and common sunflower diseases. Resistance level to downy mildew covers five races (A-E), and it also shows high resistance to false powdery mildew (RM9), Fomopsis, and head and stem rot. These qualities ensure stable yields and reduce the risk of losses under adverse conditions.

MS 82 A is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is characterized by light-green leaf color and orange-yellow ray florets.
