IREN is a mid-early sunflower hybrid with high yield potential, adapted for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Urals, West Siberia, and East Siberia. This hybrid has a period from germination to physiological maturity of 92-96 days, which allows for efficient planning of agrotechnical measures and harvest collection. The plants are tall with orange-yellow ray florets, which is a distinctive feature of the variety.

IREN is characterized by high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including white mold, downy mildew, and sunflower rust races A-E. Additionally, the hybrid is highly tolerant to Phoma, which significantly reduces the risk of crop losses under unfavorable weather conditions and high infectious pressure. Such resistance makes IREN a reliable choice for farmers seeking to minimize plant protection costs and increase production stability.

The potential seed yield of the hybrid reaches 43 c/ha, while the oil content is about 50%, providing a high oil output of up to 1.9 tons per hectare.
