Imilain

IMILAIN is a high-yielding oilseed hybrid developed using modern breeding technologies. It belongs to the early-maturing hybrids with a vegetation period of 108–110 days and reaches a height of 180–190 cm. The plant has a strong, highly branched root system, medium-thick stems, and good leafiness. The hybrid's flower head is thin, convex, half-turned downward, with a diameter of 20–22 cm, and fully filled with black elongated seeds. Oil content in the seeds is 49–52%, with a moisture level of 20–22%. IMILAIN exhibits high resistance to various adverse factors. The hybrid is genetically resistant to rust and false powdery mildew, highly tolerant to phomopsis and phomosis, and resistant to seven races of downy mildew (A–G+), including new forms of downy mildew, enabling effective use of imidazolinone herbicides via the Clearfield technology. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to lodging, drought, and seed shattering, contributing to a stable and high-quality yield. IMILAIN is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones with optimal plant density at harvest of 40–60 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the region. Using this hybrid ensures a yield potential exceeding 50 centners per hectare. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, IMILAIN is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality oilseed with high oil content and resistance to major diseases and pests.
