Sunflower ANY

High-Tech Solution for Crop Protection

The «Lubo» sunflower hybrid by NPO Yugagrokhim is designed for farmers operating in regions with significant disease and weed pressure. As a simple hybrid compatible with the "Euro-Lightning" production system, it allows for effective control of stubborn weeds and broomrape, significantly reducing the need for mechanical tillage.

Key Advantages for Production

With a plant height of 160–170 cm, this hybrid ensures uniform maturity and facilitates efficient harvesting. Developed by originators from the Znamyansky Agrokhim and NPO Yugagrokhim, "Lubo" features a strong genetic defense against common sunflower pathogens:

• Peronospora (Downy Mildew) — high immunity.
• Rust — effective prevention of premature leaf drying.
• Phomopsis and Powdery Mildew — robust protection of the photosynthetic apparatus throughout the season.

Using this hybrid is a strategic choice for operations prioritizing yield preservation in humid conditions where fungal risks are high. The "Euro-Lightning" technology allows for clearing fields of parasitic weeds, ensuring clean crops and optimal development without harming the sunflower plants themselves.
