Sunflower MAS 96G

Sunflower MAS 96G is a mid-season hybrid of linoleic type with a vegetative period of 111 to 118 days. Plants of this hybrid are characterized by high stature and flat basket shape with a slanted position. MAS 96G has medium-late flowering and an initial growth rating of 6 points, ensuring good development in early stages. Sowing is recommended at soil temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius at a depth of 8-10 cm, which promotes optimal root establishment and plant growth.

MAS 96G hybrid demonstrates high yield, reaching up to 46.8 centners per hectare, and oil content in seeds at 44-49%. Thousand-seed mass varies from 52 to 65 grams, indicating seed size and quality of planting material. Seeds are treated with protectants AGROSTART and PONCHO D150, enhancing their protection against diseases and pests. Planting material is intended for areas of 2.2 to 2.5 hectares at a rate of 150,000 seeds per bag.

MAS 96G exhibits high resistance to sunflower downy mildew (A-G), which is one of the key advantages of this hybrid. It also shows tolerance to common diseases such as white mold of head and stem, powdery mildew, frogepsis, sclerotinia, and rust. Drought resistance is rated at 8-9 points, and lodging resistance at 7 points, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, including the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. MAS 96G is recommended for sowing across a wide range of regions, confirming its adaptability and stable yield.
