WEYDELSKY 100 — a medium-maturing sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) variety, intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including the Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions. Recommended for cultivation in Voronezh, Penza, and Volgograd regions. The plant is characterized by green leaf coloration, absence of blistering, early flowering, and yellow disc florets. The plant is tall, with no branching, and the seed coat margins are strongly expressed, giving the seeds a distinctive appearance. The growing period of the variety varies from 111 to 119 days depending on the cultivation region. The 1000-seed mass ranges from 52.9 g to 69.4 g, indicating a large-seeded variety. Average yields in the Central Chernozem region reach 24.9–26.2 ц/га, in the Middle Volga — 17.5 ц/га, in the Lower Volga — 21.4 ц/га. Maximum yield recorded was 39.9 ц/га. Fat content in the seeds is approximately 46.3–49.5%, ensuring high oil extraction — up to 12.1 ц/га. The variety exhibits moderate resistance to white mold and false powdery mildew, as well as medium levels of infection by ragweed in field conditions. Due to these qualities and the high quality of seeds, WEYDELSKY 100 is a reliable choice for agricultural production, ensuring stable yields and high-quality oilseed raw material.
