MA880 SU

The hybrid sunflower MA880 SU is a mid-season linoleic variety with a vegetation period of approximately 115-118 days. Plants are characterized by high stature and a convex, slightly inclined head shape. Seeds weigh 50-65 grams per thousand and contain 46-49% oil, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

One of the key features of MA880 SU is its high resistance to various strains of downy mildew (A to G), as well as to a number of common diseases including false powdery mildew, fusarium, verticillium, head and stem sclerotinia, and root rot. The hybrid also exhibits tolerance to the herbicide Granstar, which simplifies crop management and enhances plant protection efficiency.
