Sunflower Hybrid 101 A

Field Performance: GSM 101 A Hybrid

When working with the GSM 101 A sunflower hybrid by Ooo Galaktika, the first thing you notice is the uniformity of the stand. With a vegetation period of 110-120 days, it is predictable and easy to manage, which is essential for logistical planning. The plant height of 170-190 cm is perfect for modern harvesting equipment; it feeds into the header smoothly with minimal grain loss, even under varying moisture conditions.

Agronomic Resilience

The standout feature of this hybrid is its compatibility with the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) production system. Being able to use a broad-spectrum herbicide makes weed management significantly easier and more cost-effective. Resistance to phomopsis and downy mildew allows for a reduction in fungicide applications, lowering the overall cost of production per hectare.

Yield and Oil Quality

The oil content consistently hits the 50-55% range, which ensures a premium at the crushing plant. The large, well-filled heads hold the seeds tightly, preventing pre-harvest shattering even if the crop is left standing a bit longer than planned. For a farmer, this flexibility is a huge advantage during a busy harvest season.

• Vegetation period: 110-120 days for reliable maturation.
• Production System: Optimized for Euro-Lightning technology.
• Key benefits: High disease resistance, 50-55% oil content, and excellent harvestability.
