RCK VOSKHOD — a mid-late maturing hybrid sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) primarily intended for silage use. Medium-height plant without branching, medium-sized green leaves with weakly reticulated texture. Flowers are ligulate, orange-yellow, narrowly egg-shaped, tubular flowers orange without anthocyanin pigmentation on the stigma. Medium-sized head, bent downward on the stem, medium-sized seeds, black with weakly expressed white stripes along the edges and between them. Leaf reticulation is weak, strong pubescence in the upper part of the stem. The hybrid is characterized by high feed value: dry matter content in green mass at flowering stage is 17.2-21.4%, mono- and polysaccharides — 7.0-7.8%, crude protein in leaf-stem mass at milky-woody ripeness stage — 11.1-11.6%. 9.3-10.5 mg of carotene per kg of dry matter. Dry matter content varies from 25.7 to 29.7%, lactic acid — 4.3-4.8%, mass fraction of oleic acid does not exceed 0.5%. Digestible protein is 7.8-8.1%. Forage yield reaches 2.94 feeding units per hectare, making the variety effective for silage production. RCK VOSKHOD is resistant to downy mildew (races A-F), ensuring stable yield across various sunflower cultivation regions. The variety is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and recommended for all sunflower cultivation regions. Due to its characteristics and resistance to pests, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in diverse climatic conditions, ensuring high productivity and quality of feed products.
