Sunflower LG50529 SX

LG50529 SX sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with high yield and stable oil content reaching 49-50%. The plant is medium-height, possesses high initial growth energy and adaptability to cultivation conditions, ensuring its resistance to drought and stress factors. The hybrid is widely adapted and suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions.

LG50529 SX exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Sclerotinia of the head, and false powdery mildew, as well as genetic resistance to Striga species A-G. Thanks to these characteristics, the hybrid ensures stable and high yields even under adverse conditions. The plant has a convex head and an optimal vegetation period of 106-115 days.

For sowing, it is recommended to use the Express technology with the herbicide Granstar, for which the hybrid was specifically developed. Seeds are sown to a depth of up to 8 cm at a rate of 45-55 thousand plants per hectare depending on soil moisture. Optimal soils for cultivation are chernozems and meadow-chernozems with neutral or slightly alkaline reaction and loamy or sandy-loam texture. The LG50529 SX hybrid is a high-profit solution for innovative farms aiming to obtain high-quality yields with high oil content.
