Description Lucil
Lucil — a mid-early sunflower hybrid designed for use in the ClearfieldPlus technology. The vegetation period is 118-120 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various growing conditions, especially in the steppe zone. Plants reach an average height of 165-175 cm, with a downward-leaning head, facilitating harvest. The recommended planting density before harvest is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including powdery mildew, gray mold, sclerotinia, phomopsis, and gray rot. Additionally, Lucil shows resistance to lodging and stem breakage, which helps preserve yield under adverse weather conditions. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its sixfold increased resistance to herbicides of the imidazolinone group (e.g., Euro-Lightning®) compared to standard Clearfield® hybrids.

Lucil demonstrates high productivity and oil content at 49-50%, along with heat and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climates. The hybrid is characterized by stable yield and adaptability to growing conditions, enabling effective use in modern agronomic technologies and delivering high economic returns.
