Description
Ilona CL demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions and is well-suited for intensive cultivation. It is resistant to herbicides of the imidazolinone group, allowing effective control of broadleaf and grass weeds. Additionally, it exhibits tolerance to several diseases, including downy mildew, frogeye leaf spot, rust, various species of sclerotinia, and verticillium, contributing to stable and high-quality yields.
Recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, with medium-sized heads, semi-upright posture, and good leaf protection from sunburn. The hybrid shows high resistance to seed shattering and good seed retention. The time from sowing to flowering is approximately 66 days, and to physiological maturity — 115-120 days. Ilona CL is a flexible hybrid capable of adapting to various growing conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality, stable sunflower yields.
